DESCRIPTION: Colorado&rsquo;s ballot will be chock-full of measures to vote on in November, so come learn from an expert!Greg Sobetski, 2007 Boettcher Scholar and nonpartisan staff economist for the Colorado legislature, will teach us the ins and outs of the ballot issues so that you&rsquo;ll be an informed voter when you turn in your ballot. The event is nonpartisan, and is meant to be an informative session utilizing the State of Colorado&rsquo;s nonpartisan ballot information booklet.&nbsp;This year, we will have two options for you to participate. You can join us in Denver on Wednesday, October 9 where Greg will offer an in-depth presentation over food and drinks. Greg is responsible for forecasting state revenue and preparing official analyses of fiscal policy. He also authors projections of the state prison population, coauthors the Blue Book ballot guide mailed to voters before each statewide election, and advises legislators on issues related to TABOR. Greg coached the national champion George Washington High School debate team and previously taught middle school in China.
