DESCRIPTION: The Boettcher Scholar Alumni Board wants to offer our Alums the opportunity to engage in thoughtful conversation in a relaxed environment. On Tuesday, November 12 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m., Ewa Borowska from Peak to Peak Leadership will guide us through a reflective discussion of "The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas." This discussion will encourage us to reflect, increase our social awareness, and tackle a thorny ethical dilemma.&nbsp;You will need to read this short story before the session, and you can access it here.Zoom link:&nbsp;https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89247413988Meet the Presenter:Ewa Borowska is the Executive Director of Peak to Peak Leadership. Her career has ranged from investment banking, fund management, and consulting to teaching. Before joining Peak to Peak Leadership, Ewa founded a consulting firm advising institutions on leadership, governance, strategy, marketing, communications, transitions, and finances. Prior to that, she was a senior member of the investment team for the Global and American Franchise strategies at Morgan Stanley in London. The team managed in excess of $10 billion in global long-only equity strategies. Ewa has served on a number of boards, including Friends School in Boulder, Women's Health in Boulder, and the Board of Governors for the NewVic College in London.Ewa holds an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA with honors in Comparative Literature from Yale University.
