DESCRIPTION: Hello all Current and Alumni Scholars! We are excited to announce our second annual Denver Metro Trail Restoration Day with Sand Creek Regional Greenway Partnership (SCRGP), taking place Saturday, June 18th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. MT. Join us Saturday morning at the work site with coffee, water, and snacks provided, and stay after for lunch at the worksite and ice cream at Constellation Ice Cream just 5 minutes away! Connect with local non-profit SCRGP to talk about urban environmentalism, preservation, equity, and accessibility for our city’s outdoor spaces, and get your hands dirty helping to keep Denver’s natural spaces beautiful! Please RSVP with 360Alumni and also sign up right HERE through SCRGP. The volunteer work is suitable for all ages, so don’t forget to bring the whole family! Exact location and work TBD by SCRGP two weeks prior to the event, details will be sent directly to participants via their site registration link.Volunteers should wear weather appropriate clothing and closed toed shoes and bring along sun protection and water.Boettcher Foundation will adhere to all COVID-19 protocols set forth by the event organizer and local CDC guidelines.
