Alumni Ambassadors help our scholarship staff reach out to schools to help students learn more about the Boettcher Scholarship as well as how to compete for other scholarships. Alumni Ambassadors provide a valuable service to Colorado students.
Training webinars for Alumni Ambassadors will be held on the following dates (you only need to attend one):
Tuesday, May 23, 12:30pm-1:30pm
Thursday, May 25, 6:30 p.m – 7:30 p.m.
Additional request:
We sometimes get requests for representatives who have experiences or backgrounds that reflect those of the students to whom we are presenting. In an effort to try to gather some information that could help us respond to these requests, we would appreciate it if you could let us know if there are any areas like these in which you would be willing to serve as a representative based on your own personal experiences. These could include (but are not limited to):
First-generation
Being from a rural community/school
Bilingual (and willing to present in that language or staff an information table)
A member of an organization or program (such as HOBY, Girl/Boy Scouts, etc.)
A person of color
LGBTQ
If you would be willing to speak to your experience in any one of these areas, or if you have any others for which you’d be willing to serve as a representative if the opportunity presents itself, please let Vanessa Roman know by emailing her directly at vanessa@boettcherfoundation.org.
