Boettcher Make a Difference Day 2019: Colorado Springs
Where and When: Saturday, October 26th 9:00am-11:30pm. Optional meal to follow.
Join us for a day of community service where we will box meals for Care and Share Food Bank. Please read the following email sent to me with instructions on how to sign up:
Please forward this information to your team:
1. Please ask your team mates to register a profile athttp://vhub.at/BoettcherFoundation and sign up for Saturday, October 26, 9:00am - 11:30am. Everyone must have a profile completed.
2. Any youth under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Attached is this waiver that must be completed and turned in upon arrival.
3. Please watch our Care and Share – Volunteer Safety Video.
4. Please pass along these basic safety protocols:
• Volunteers ages 6-15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while volunteering
• Children 6-10 years old must have 1 adult per 3 children
• All shoes must be closed toed with no open backs
• All shirts must have sleeves (no muscle shirts)
• No overly loose pants are allowed
• Cell phone use is limited to the employee/volunteer break room
• No headphones (music, Bluetooth) are allowed in the volunteer areas or the warehouse
• Purses and bags should be left at home
• Horse playing is prohibited
• Only designated Care and Share employees are allowed to ride or operate forklift equipment
• Personal food or drinks are allowed only in the employee/volunteer breakroom
• During fall/winter months dress in warm layers
• As a courtesy to our staff and volunteers, we require all volunteers to arrive on time for your shift. If a volunteer is going to be more than 10 minutes late, we ask for you to kindly excuse yourself and reschedule your shift to volunteer with us for another date
