You're invited to join our COVID and the Kisslers: Wholehearted Alumni Doctors Talk About Their Journey To Fighting Infectious Disease virtual event on Saturday, August 8, from 9:45 - 10:30 a.m. MT.

Wicked-smart Boettcher Scholar alumni doctors Mark and Stephen Kissler are leveraging their expertise in medicine and mathematical modeling to help those of us outside the fields of science and medicine better navigate the information, misinformation and political considerations that are influencing our public understanding of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. But what does it feel like to be quietly working away in the hospital or lab when suddenly your work – the work you’ve been doing for years – is urgently important to millions of people? What do you do when your research is thrust center stage and international news networks are calling for quotes? Join English major and Boettcher staff member Katy Craig as she talks to the Kisslers about their heroes’ journey.
