Community Roots Art Festival (CRAFt) is a grassroots operation with a mission to highlight local Black, Indigenous, and brown (BIPOC) self-identified artists by celebrating their authentic expressions of art. We've gathered tons of local artists, performers, and vendors for one special day to celebrate our thriving community in the Front Range.
Tickets are free or available via suggested donation to support our artists and ensure this festival continues next year. Suggested donation ticket buyers get one raffle ticket and/or a tote bag. Your donation is tax-deductible thanks to our nonprofit fiscal sponsor.
Can't make it to the event, but want to support us? Skip the ticket and select "make a donation" on this page.

This festival is for Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) who want to connect with our creatives, celebrate their work, and be in a supportive community regardless of creative skill or experience. We understand that BIPOC covers a wide spectrum of experiences and we are happy to direct folks to organizations that can provide more specific communities and support. The following are a few, local resources: Creative Nations, Slant’d, Black Love Mural Festival, The Museum for Black Girls, Cut+Paste CO, Street Wise Arts Boulder, Museo De Las Americas, Palm Wine Collective, The Red Road Project. Please email us if you would like to add your organization to this list.
White people are encouraged to attend, listen, purchase artwork, watch performances, and elevate what our thriving community has to say. CRAFt was created to take up space in an environment where whiteness is centered and barriers are created to silence us. We ask that you respect that space by acknowledging our CRAFt community, investing in their work financially, promoting their work, and sharing what you’ve witnessed after the festival. Black, Indigenous, and people of color are not a monolith and we will not tolerate tokenization, appropriation, or fetishization. Below are just a few helpful and educational resources:
