In an effort to more deeply connect our Alumni and community to our current work, we wanted to invite those of you who are leaders in rural Colorado to participate in our COLead Initiative Rural Leaders Collaborative. The Collaborative, launched last year, creates a space for stakeholders to come together to advance the leadership in their organizations, communities, and regions. The intent is to share knowledge, access resources, make connections, and amplify impact.
If you are interested, our initial meeting of 2022 (these will be quarterly) will be next Thursday, February 17 from 9:30-11am. This meeting will focus on rural housing. Please RSVP by emailing me at curtis@boettcherfoundation.org.
This year, with an eye toward action and focus, we are tackling one issue per meeting at our Collaborative convenings. We believe Boettcher remains uniquely positioned to approach these important topics from a statewide, rural perspective that is applicable to all community leaders, no matter what sector or region of the state they are from.
Because of the magnitude of the challenge, we are beginning with the issue of rural housing and the rural housing shortage many communities are facing. In subsequent quarters, we will focus on the following:
