Event Details

Please join us again for our 4th annual trail building service event in the Colorado Wilderness on Saturday July 23rd! Please RSVP by July 20th!

We will be working to rebuild the Buffalo Creek Trailhead Bridge outside Granby, CO with the Headwaters Alliance. The project will start at 8:30am and go until 4:30pm. Boettcher Scholars volunteered a few years ago on this same trailhead before natural fires damaged the trail and destroyed the bridge. We will work to help get the bridge re-built along with other National Forest Service Volunteers. This is a family friendly service event and there will be opportunities for people of all ages to get involved!

All are welcome to join us to camp the night before, the night after, or both! Camping arrangements and more information will follow soon!

Volunteers should wear long sleeves, pants, and closed toed shoes and bring along sun protection and water. The foundation will have gloves, safety glasses, additional water, and additional sunscreen available. The Headwaters Alliance will provide all additional tools needed.

Boettcher Foundation will adhere to all COVID-19 protocols set forth by the event organizer and local CDC guidelines.
