Every fall we take the opportunity to support our communities with a day of service.

This year, Boettcher Scholars are partnering with A Little Help for Service Saturday! on Saturday, November 12. We will meet at 8:45 a.m. at Denver South High School, 1700 E. Louisiana Ave, Denver, CO 80210 where we will check in, receive any needed tools for our projects, and enjoy coffee, treats, and team spirit! Around 9:30 a.m. we will head out to our pre-selected project homes where we will spend time talking with older adults while we complete seasonal yard and home chores such as raking leaves, planting, pulling weeds, washing windows, clearing gutters, and more around their home. Our service projects will last 2 – 3 hours.

Following our volunteering, we will reconvene to either enjoy lunch together or participate in A Little Help’s Celebration of Service. These after-event details are coming soon. We're excited to deepen our connection and engagement through Service Saturday!

Please RVSP here no later than Wednesday, 11/2, by 6 p.m. We will then register our group with A Little Help, select project homes, and send out final details to everyone for our event.
